Sundae Drive - Week 12 / August 9

After a long but fun day yesterday (http://www.vimeo.com/6026456) we decided to keep this week's adventure close to home. Short of staying in wonderful Monroe you can't get much closer than Newtown CT, home of the giant flag pole and the $2 movie theater.

Ever heard of Burgerittoville (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEDOoLEmfkI)? if not you should check it out, not your typical fare but i bet you find something you like.

We stopped there for our pre-ice cream warm up dinner. Alyssa loved the PB&J-aritto :-) Megan recommends the cheese fries.

Off to the highlight of the evening, the generically named "Ice Cream Shop" of Newtown CT. Reminiscent of a Dairy Queen, but also with hard ice cream, they had a wide variety of ice cream and frozen yogurt choices.

Amanda loved her mini-cone. Jake, Jon and I went with Avalanches (like a blizzard from DQ)
