Sundae Drive - Week 13 / August 16

Like a family with a mission the Carroll clan continued the ice cream adventure with a stop in Virginia. They got to VA Beach about 4 pm and after a quick swim and a meal at Capt George's they stopped off at Handel's. Cake batter and choc chip were the two flavors. Nothing too crazy as they were still full from soft shell crabs, king crab legs, scallops, shrimp, prime rib, clam chowder and a whole lot of other food.

The Cunninghame family just didn't cut the mustard this week. Too much going on with our trip to North Carolina and finding a local ice cream shop didn't make it to the top of the priority list this week. So we cheated and had ice cream at the house instead.

UPDATE - Mid-week adventure

In an attempt to redeem ourselves for the poor showing this past Sunday the Cunninghames ventured out to a local ice cream shop, Big Bucks, in Corolla NC for a quick snack today.
