Sundae Drive - Week 15 / August 30

Here is their write up:
This week we went to a place called Cabo (http://www.panchos-cantina.com/). 2 words BIG PORTIONS! Jake got a giant burrito, Alyssa and Megan shared ultimate nachos and let me say something we didn't even make a dent. Amanda got 3 chicken nuggets and Amanda didn't like them. Jon got sizzling fajitas and they were silzzlen!

After going out to dinner we went to a place called Goody Basset's for ice cream(link). Amanda and Lorri got vanilla with cookies mixed in. They had home made whipped cream. Alyssa and Megan got cake batter ice cream and it was good but on all of them they put a little too much whipped cream. Amanda didn't love her ice cream but mostly every body else liked theirs. We thought the place was interesting because it was named after a witch named Goddy Basset who lived in Stratford. The place was cute and we got candy from there. All and all it was it was a good last sundae night drive of the summer vacation.

Basset was burned at the stake for being a witch. After the house was built, lots of

people have been drawn out of it. The legend is that if you stare in a mirror in the

house, you will not see your face but Goody Basset's and she will prick your arm

with a needle for staring at you.
