I was there years ago and had a great time at Steamboat & Vail. Funny how some thing things stick in your mind, it was more than half a lifetime ago but i still have vivid memories of Steamboat. I recall like it was yesterday riding up a lift and seeing two guys skiing side by side down a bumped up trail hitting a catwalk and doing simultaneous helicopters (kids today call em 360's or maybe 3's???, i don't know, i'm not a kid) they landed and kept going without missing a beat. Pulling a 3 has been on my wish list since then.. still ain't done it :-( I also remember taking a lesson at Steamboat and finding out i didn't ski nearly as well as i thought i did :-D
Since i'd been to Steamboat we decided to try new places (trying new things is GOOD!) so we'll be skiing Keystone, ABasin, Copper and Breckenridge while there. Amy's plotting some non-ski activities for us including a sleigh-ride dinner and also a fondue night at the top of the mountain.
The village @ keystone (where we're staying) is supposed to have lots of stuff to do so Amy & Megan( when not skiing) won't be bored.
