Ski season winding down

Warm weather, daylight savings time and the start of the baseball season all point to the impending end of ski season. Our local hill in CT probably closed Sunday, unless we get some very cold weather over the next few days. Ski Sundown went out with a bang, they hosted their 2nd annual spring S7 event. In the AM they have a competition in the terrain park and in the afternoon a mogul skiing race. Winners (men and women) of the mogul race each got $1000 and new skis. Jake and I signed up but weren't recipients of anything more than the T-shirt you get for entering. I like skiing moguls but don't consider myself anything more than average, however some of the guys skiing this weekend were phenomenal. Many came down from VT just to compete for the prize money.

Hopefully I'll get a few more days heading up to VT before the season is finally over. My goal at the start of the season was to get 30 days, i'm at 27 and think i can do it. My secondary goal is to ski in May for the first time ever, May 1st @ Sugarbush or Killington would be great. Just need to plot and scheme to make sure it all happens.

Here is a video i made Saturday, i was using the new camera i got to replace my broken one.
