This weekend we headed south to Rowayton CT (which according to everything electronic is really Norwalk.. the Rowayton people must think they are better than their neighbors so they invented their own fake town).
The plan was to go to Brendan's 101 for dinner and ice cream. We took two cars, hit lots of traffic on I-95 and when we got to Brendan's found it to be less than we expected so we made a quick change of plans and went to Rowayton Pizza across the street.
The place looked really nice - they had tables outside and a dude playing guitar for ambiance. The mediocre food was out done by the poor service. Our food came out 1 dish at a time, wrong meals, appetizers came after meals, the fried mozzarella was still frozen and the kids were done by the time our pizza came out. Not a place i'd recommend to a friend.
After dinner we headed back across the street to Brendan's to get our Ice Cream fix.
Jake really liked his ice cream while Megan broke with tradition and got a giant cupcake rather than ice cream. I think everyone else was less than impressed.
Don't think we'll be going back.
