birthdays + camping = no ice cream
The Carrolls were off camping and the Cunninghames were off celebrating getting old* (why do we celebrate that??) so as a result we didn't get ice cream (tho i did eat a little chocolate cake)
We'll pick back up again next weekend for what will likely be the final ice cream adventure of the season.
*Amy turned forty five while i'm still a very young thirty sixteen.
