I think the Great Park Pursuit has met an untimely death, at least for the "Monroe Musketeers". Other than them designating my backyard as a park and having an event there i don't think there is enough interest to venture out again.
Luckily there is still interest in ice cream!!! This week's destination was Sunny Daes of Fairfield in the Black Rock section of Fairfield CT. Though not a chain, we'd been to a different Sunny Daes last year but without the Carrolls so we decided to give this store a try too.
Ice Cream was good, everybody seemed to enjoy it. Our service was excellent, the scooper dude was careful to ask about all the different options realted to cone type (hard, soft, waffle) and toppings. However Jon had a different experience with his scooper, wrong waffle cone and mixed up toppings had to be dealt with.
So far this is our favorite place this year.
how come there is no mention of the 5k race? gp
